Our Mission
We got tired of seeing DPOs struggle with expensive, cloud-based tools that don't respect privacy. Small organizations can't afford $5,000/month software. Large organizations send sensitive data to vendors they don't fully trust. It's absurd. We built FreeDPOTool to give every DPO—regardless of budget—access to professional tools that actually respect privacy. Because if privacy professionals can't use private tools, what hope does anyone else have?
Why We Built This
We were DPOs. We lived the struggle.
Every month, we watched budgets get slashed while compliance demands grew. We sat through sales calls for software that cost more than a full-time employee. We uploaded DPIAs to cloud platforms and felt like hypocrites. We watched small nonprofits try to be compliant with nothing but Excel.
Then we realized: modern browsers can do amazing things. AI can run locally. Databases work offline. Why are we paying vendors thousands per month?
So we built FreeDPOTool. Everything a DPO needs. Zero cost. Zero cloud. Zero compromises.
